Dr Tania Pawade is a well experienced Consultant Cardiologist based in Bath at the Royal United Hospital Bath. She sees patients privately at the Bath Clinic and Sulis Hospital Bath. She also performs private device implants at the Spire hospital in Bristol.
Dr Tania Pawade completed her medical degree with honors at the University of Birmingham. She also achieved a scholarship to undertake a Biomedical Science degree for which she achieved First Class honors.
She later undertook her specialist cardiology training in Birmingham and was awarded a scholarship to pursue her PhD at the University of Edinburgh which she completed in 2017. She has won national awards. In 2020, Dr Pawade undertook a prestigious international fellowship in cardiac rhythm management in Melbourne, Australia, further developing her expertise.
At the Royal United Hospital Bath, Dr Pawade is the clinical lead for the pacemaker implantation service and is developing the cardiac rhythm management service. She is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and has implemented measures to enhance patient safety and experience. Her appointment as a consultant has facilitated the routine implantation of specialised pacemakers at the hospital, aimed at preventing and treating heart failure. She also has expertise in the management of heart failure, heart rhythm abnormalities, and the implantation of cardiac devices.
