Prof. Michael Dienst joined the OCM in 2009 as a hip specialist and senior physician. Already during his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the late 1990s, he developed an interest in hip surgery. Over the past 20 years he has contributed nationally and internationally to the development of both arthroscopic and open hip preservation surgery, in lectures, academic articles in journals and books, as an instructor in courses and workshops, with the development of surgical instruments and in live operations.
