Prof. Jung is and orthopedic and trauma surgery consultant with the additional title of hand surgeon. What he finds particularly challenging about hand and foot surgery is the fact that the treatment of these two specialist fields covers the entire spectrum of orthopedics and trauma surgery – from trauma, through congenital and acquired deformities to arthrosis. One thing he finds particularly rewarding about being a physician is the alternation between work in A&E, with the associated examination and counseling of patients, and work in the OP theater.
