Mr Nigel Mendoza is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon currently based at the private practices Bupa Cromwell Hospital and BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital. His current NHS post is Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham, London. His areas of specialism are brain tumours and spinal tumours and his areas of interest include trigeminal neuralgia, pituitary tumours, spinal surgery, general neurosurgery, and acoustic neuroma.
Mr Mendoza qualified in Medicine in 1983 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees at University of London. He undertook specialist surgical training in Neurosurgery and gained a Fellowship in Surgical Neurology by the Intercollegiate Speciality Assessment Board on behalf of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in 1994. He has 11 years' experience as an NHS Consultant Neurosurgeon working at the West London Neurosciences Unit at Charing Cross Hospital and he was also Chief of Service for the 5 years.
