Professor Jocelyn Brookes, Consultant Endovascular Radiologist, is currently based within the University College London Hospitals. He also sees patients privately at the London Clinic and the Royal Free Hospital. He has a wealth of experience in the treatment and diagnosis of varicose veins, pelvic vein congestion, and fibroids. He currently holds the position of Lead for the Arteriovenous Malformation service, which is the biggest practice of its kind in the UK.
Professor Brookes has held many professional positions including sitting on the committee for NICE guidelines development for Varicose Veins, organising the Vascular Anomalies Special Interest Group (VASIG) of the British Society of Interventional Radiology, and hosting international conferences. He is also registered to practise in Barbados with the Barbados Medical Council, running a practice for veins/ulcers and fibroids in Bridgetown.
