

Dr Yang Liying is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. In 2008, she graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. In 2013, she obtained her Master of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She was acknowledged as a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2016 and earned her Masters in Medical Genetics in 2021. Additionally, she is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Dr Yang incorporates an evidence-based and patient-centric approach to clinical care. Her areas of interest are particularly in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Prenatal Genetics, and Breastfeeding Medicine, as she acknowledges that pregnancy presents as an opportunity to deliver quality care that has the potential to influence the long-term health of the family, mother, and child.
