Dr. Seraj Abdullah Abualnaja is a distinguished consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Internal Medicine specialist with over a decade of clinical leadership and procedural expertise. He has performed more than 2,000 diagnostic coronary angiographies and 1,000 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), including high‑risk PCIs—such as left main coronary artery interventions and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). He is also skilled in structural heart interventions, including closures and repairs for ASD, VSD, and pulmonary and aortic valves.
Educated and trained extensively in Canada at the University of Alberta, Dr. Abualnaja completed residency in Internal Medicine (2007–2010), followed by Cardiology (2010–2013), and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship (2013–2015). He holds his medical degree from King Abdul‑Aziz University (1998–2003) and possesses certifications from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Fluent in Arabic and English, he has held leadership roles in major Saudi healthcare institutions and contributed academically as an assistant professor at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University.
