About

Dr. Ravichand C. Siddachari is a highly experienced Consultant - Chief of Liver Transplant and HPB Surgery at KIMS Hospital.
He graduated from Belarussian State Medical University in 1996 through an exchange scholarship program sponsored by MCI.
He pursued his post-graduation in General Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, renowned for cancer care, and completed a comprehensive surgical oncology residency program along with a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and GI surgical Oncology.
Dr. Siddachari gained further international exposure through a 3-year Clinical Fellowship in upper GI and HPB Surgery at Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Ireland.
He continued his specialization in HPB, Liver transplantation at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, where he earned MCh.
Dr. Siddachari joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi in 2013 as a consultant GI/HPB and Liver transplant surgeon, contributing to one of the world's largest liver transplantation programs.
His qualifications include MD from Minsk, Belarus, MS (Ortho) from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, DNB (General Surgery), MCh (University College of Dublin, Ireland), MRCSEd (Edinburgh, UK), FRCS (HPB, Upper GI, Intercollegiate Board, UK), and several diplomas.
With extensive experience, he is proficient in a variety of surgeries, including Whipple procedures, liver resections, and liver transplants.
Dr. Siddachari's contributions to medical literature include publications in various journals and chapters in handbooks.
