Surgical gastroenterologist trained at one of India’s best hospitals and since has had accelerated career progression to role of leading a team over a short span of 12 years.
Established and sustained a liver transplant program at PSRI over last 2½ years. He was selected for this role considering his experience with over 1200 live donor liver transplants. He established the clinical, para-clinical and support teams required for the service.
He trained a team in a government hospital in Gambhat, Pakistan to develop their liver transplant program through regular frequent visits. This team now independently performs 8-10 liver transplants every month.
Recognised as key opinion leader by The Transplant Society in 2011.

Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram hospital New Delhi in the department of surgical gastroenterology and liver transplantation were performed. In addition to leading a unit in the department, he was the academic coordinator and a guide to DNB fellow.
