She completed her BDS and her MDS in Oral Medicine and Dentomaxillofacial Radiology at the Government Dental College and Research Center, Bangalore, pursuing her interest in comprehensive training in CBCT. She has a keen interest in research in imaging science and in 2011 she became the first Indian woman to receive the Best Research Award at the International Conference on Dentistry and Maxillofacial Radiology in Hiroshima.
She is one of her recently invited guest speakers at IDA and many of her CDE programs across India and has presented several award-winning papers and posters at national professional conferences. .
