Dr. Jagdish Chander is a senior-most General and Minimal Access Surgeon, currently serving as Director of Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida. With a remarkable 38+ years of surgical experience, he is one of India’s most accomplished laparoscopic surgeons. Dr. Chander completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi, and later pursued fellowships in Organ Transplantation from globally reputed institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin, Madison (USA).

He holds the distinction of having performed 30,000+ laparoscopic surgeries, including highly complex procedures like nephrectomies, adrenalectomies, colectomies, gastrectomies, esophagectomies, Whipple’s procedure, and bariatric surgeries.
