Among his accomplishments, he has completed more than 175 liver transplants from living donors between 1999 and 2010, performed 4000 bariatric surgery cases in 2010, and achieved the distinction of being the first Saudi surgeon to perform a liver transplant for a child from a live donor in the Middle East in 2008 at the Armed Forces Hospital. He also accomplished a remarkable Saudi international medical achievement by performing two liver transplants by exchanging double organs between members of two families simultaneously.
