Dr. Antonio Brugarolas is a distinguished figure in the field of Oncology, with a rich history of leadership and academic excellence. Serving as director of the Department of Oncology and associate professor at the University of Navarra from 1980 to 2000, Dr. Brugarolas played a pivotal role in the development of a comprehensive multidisciplinary program. During his tenure, he mentored and trained over 30 specialists, supervised numerous doctoral theses, and authored or co-authored over 100 publications and book chapters in the field.

Since September 2000, Dr. Brugarolas has continued his impactful work in oncology by spearheading the oncology platform at Quirónsalud Torrevieja Hospital. This pioneering project integrates a diverse team of highly qualified professionals from various specialties, united in their commitment to providing oncological care of the highest caliber.
