• Dr. Akshat Malik is an exceedingly specialized surgeon who specializes in the treatment of Head & Neck cancer. He holds a M Ch degree in Head & Neck surgery which he obtained after completing his Masters in Surgery (MS) from Delhi University. Thereafter, he completed M Ch in Head & Neck surgery from the prestigious Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai where he refined the art and craft of managing all spectrums of head and neck cancers in a multi-disciplinary and evidenced-based manner.
• Dr. Malik's training in Head & Neck cancer surgery was highly coveted and he was selected for a competitive Royal College of Surgeon’s senior clinical fellowship in advanced head & neck surgery from the prestigious Imperial College, London.
• Dr. Malik's vast knowledge and expertise in the field of head and neck cancer has led to his involvement in various clinical trials and extensive publications in several international journals. In addition, he has contributed chapters to various authoritative books in the specialty and has been invited to review prestigious journals.
• He is a strong advocate for increasing cancer awareness amongst the general public and has played an integral role in training specialists, medical officers, and auxiliary healthcare workers in cancer screening. Furthermore, he has written invited articles related to head and neck cancers in several languages for leading newspapers in the country.
