Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Agarwal is a distinguished Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with a decade‑long tenure at Manipal Hospitals, Mukundapur, Kolkata. His academic journey began with MBBS from Burdwan Medical College (honours & gold medal), followed by MS in General Surgery and MCh in Plastic Surgery. To further refine his skills, he received advanced training in Microvascular Reconstruction at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, and in Aesthetic & Reconstructive Breast Surgery as a visiting fellow at Mayo Clinic, USA.

In clinical practice, Dr. Agarwal manages complex reconstructive and cosmetic challenges: from restoring tissue and blood flow in trauma, cancer or congenital cases, to performing breast reconstructions, burn repair, hand surgeries, cleft and craniofacial defect correction, and reimplantation of severed parts. He is well recognized for his multidisciplinary collaboration and commitment to applying the highest standards of surgical care.
