Dr. Nusrat banka has 20 years of experience in dermatology, cosmetology and venerealology. She used to work in tertiary care hospitals in different countries. She has performed laser treatment of vascular and pigment disorders on pediatric patients with large moles, usually under general anesthesia. She holds a fellowship in Hair Disorders from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and is a Diplomat of the National Board (DNB) Dermatology & Venereology, New Delhi, India. She has previously worked in India, KSA, Canada, and the UAE. She has treated a variety of unusual skin conditions during her career, including cutaneous lymphomas, hereditary abnormalities, and skin conditions connected to organ and post-bone marrow transplantation. Additionally, she has experience using biologics to treat autoimmune diseases, bullous disorders, and severe psoriasis. For paediatric patients with significant birthmarks, she administers laser therapy for vascular and pigment abnormalities, typically while the child is under general anaesthesia.
She regularly conducts a variety of dermatological operations, such as neavi and benign skin tumour removal surgeries, intralesional bleomycin/5FU for the treatment of warts and keloids, and botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis. She also does cosmetic operations like hair transplants, mesotherapy, PRP, fillers, and chemical peels. She belongs to the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists, the Association of Dermatologic Surgeons of India, the Canadian Association of Dermatology, the North American Hair Research Society, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences. She has written book chapters for the Encyclopedia of Immunology and published articles in major dermatology publications in Europe and the United States.
She has performed a variety of skin treatments, including skin surgery to remove bruises and benign skin tumors, intralesional bleomycin and 5fu for difficult-to-treat warts and keloids, and botulinum toxin (botox) for hyperhidrosis. I perform medical procedures on a daily basis.
