Dr. Jaume Capdevila

Dr. Jaume Capdevila is a distinguished Medical Oncologist, specializing in the comprehensive treatment of digestive tract and endocrine tumors. His expertise encompasses a wide range of malignancies including those affecting the oesophagus, stomach, colon, rectum, pancreas, bile ducts, liver, small intestine, peritoneal cavity, and anal canal. Additionally, Dr. Capdevila has a deep specialization in endocrine tumors, such as thyroid cancers, gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, paragangliomas, pheochromocytomas, adrenal carcinomas, and other neuroendocrine lineage tumors.

Dr. Capdevila embarked on his medical journey at the University of Lleida, where he graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2001. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to complete a fellowship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the same university. He then honed his specialty in Medical Oncology during his residency at the prestigious Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, completing this phase of his training in 2006.

In 2008, Dr. Capdevila further specialized by undertaking a fellowship in Endocrine Oncology at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden. This international experience has equipped him with a global perspective and specialized skills that enhance his clinical practice.
